I haven't tried the support of BT audio, and I'm not sure but it didn't seem like it had a "fast forward" option (which is soooo useful for many turn-based RPGs) but other than that it could be my main SNES emulator. The buttons displayed in the homescreen aren't correctly mapped either. Personally the best Snes emulators for me are: 1 - Snes9x (It has an ok GUI with plenty of options and its very compatible) 2 - Mesen-S (It has a pretty good GUI with plenty of options, this one is probably the least compatible in this list but I may be wrong, its still top tier) 3 - Bsnes (It has an ok GUI and the best compatibility, its. Added Fast Forward and Rewind notifications. Higan core plugin is now deprecated and will be removed in 6 months. As soon as you add filters (even if it's just scanlines) FPS start dropping to unplayable levels (at least on Star Fox).ĭefault controls are incorrect for the Pandora: R and L buttons aren't mapped and the other buttons seemed wrongly mapped compared to a SNES controller. Yeah, BSNES has been the gold standard for around 13 years. Added BSNES, an accurate SNES emulator with 'Display Mode' screen options for HD mode 7 graphics, as the new secondary SNES core plugin. I don't know if there was frame-skipping involved (didn't feel like there was, but once again I'm no expert on this). While all the SNES games are now smoother than before, they are in a fast-forward mode. I use it for MSU-1 games, but my main SNES emulator is Mesen-S now. I wouldnt worry too much using Snes9x, it is excellent. I cant speak about Bsnes much, so this is the only comparison talk I can do. It wasn't able to run Star Fox 2 fullspeed (FPS counter said 50/60 and sound was broken) and couldn't run Yoshi Story, but all other games I've tried seemed to be fullspeed. The team behind BSNES, an emulator for Super Nintendo, has released a brand new version of it. Mesen-S is a bit slower and has easy Super Game Boy support, Snes9x has easy MSU-1 support. It runs Star Fox fullspeed (at least according to the FPS counter it stayed at 60/60 at all times and it didn't look like it was skipping frames, though I'm not an expert on this). I've tested it this weekend on my Ghz Pandora.
